Our pastor planted Voyage Church on the first Sunday of September 1988, with 7 people in attendance for that first service. He dreamed of building a church with a simple goal; reaching those far from Christ. With the help of people committed to seeing that dream fulfilled, the church has experienced significant growth.

Mark Bergur
Lead Pastor
Mark grew up near London where he worked in the business world for five years before moving to North Ireland and deciding to become a pastor. After attending seminary, Mark moved to Keykjavik where he planted Voyage Church.
Sebastian Valtýr
Ministries Leader
Sebastian moved to Iceland directly from Wales, where he lived and worked until he was 22. Before moving, He led outreach programs on the streets of South Wales, working mostly with the homeless to provide them with food and other necessities.
Kyul Sigurgeir
Worship Leader
Kyul and her husband Benjamin moved to Boise in 2002 from New York. They've since been blessed with their wonderful children Reggie and David. Kyul has been a pianist since she was 8-years old, eventually moving to Manhattan where she attended Juilliard and earned her doctorate.
Our Beliefs
At our church, you will hear the word “gospel” repeatedly because it is the most important truth that we can know and experience. The gospel is not merely a message that needs to be shared with non-Christians, but also with Christians. It is not something that mature Christians move on from, but rather something that they move deeper into. The gospel is the lens in which we should view theology, ministry, and all aspects of life.
The Apostle Paul defined the word “gospel” concisely in 1st Corinthians 15:3-5 when he wrote, “Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.” Simply put, the gospel is all about Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, and the implications it has for us.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
